I have been really interested in and fascinated by jewelry craft for a while now, but life kept getting in the way. One day a few weeks ago I looked at some bracelets I was wearing really closely and came to the conclusion that I could do that. So here are my turquoise colored flower earrings.

I made these and then wore them for Easter. They were really simple. I liked the way the materials looked so I made them into bracelets with the clear stretchy bracelet stuff. I think that I may make a few more of these, but I really want to get the ins and outs of working with wire and metallic materials. I also want to work on making my own materials with polymer clay and crystal, which I think will be really fun to work with.

Can’t believe that Valentine’s season is upon us. I am working on a few different projects. So far, I got ten cards done. How cool is that? Now to complete my black and white project! I really want it done and shipped to my dad and my sisters in time for his surgery, so they can have a piece of us with them although I can’t make it. Sigh. I’m so loving the black and white thing, but I’ve found a lot of vibrant and soft colors for Spring. I can part with the black and whiteness around then. Here’s one of my cards. It’s nice and simple.
